Proud sponsor of our
Intergenerational Program
Linden School is located on the campus of the Elyria Wesleyen Village, a retirement center. Throughout the day the senior residents, or "Grandfriends" as the children call them, visit with the children and participate in clasroom activities. This unique setting allows for the children and seniors to form lasting relationships. All classroom staff are certified guides through Macklin Intergenerational Institute.
Art Program
Miss Holly Little works with our toddler, preschool, school age classrooms and our Grandfriends on various art lessons. She offers our students hands on lessons that involve a variety of different tools and materials. Clay, paints, decoupage, and many other materials are used while teaching about texture, form, tints, and other important art concepts.
Food Program
Linden School is a provider of Ohio's CACFP, Child and Adult Care Food Program. We serve breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack. All of our meals are nutitious and homemade by the catering of Wesleyan Village. Miss Stella is our kitchen coordinator who ensures that all children are provided appropriate servings each day.
